Lord K2 is a London-born visual artist based in Tokyo.

Through photography and mixed media, his work often explores the tension between control and disorder — drawing from urban counterculture, ritualised sport, and everyday life.

Before committing to his practice, Lord K2 spent years trading stocks remotely while travelling internationally, gaining exposure to different cultures that inform his work. A formative period in Buenos Aires marked a turning point. There, he began working in stencil-based street art, later documenting the artists around him.

His work draws on both the abrasion of street culture and the disciplined intensity of combat sports such as Muay Thai and sumo. He is particularly interested in repetition, ritual, and the visible traces of human effort — on both bodies and urban surfaces.

His work has been featured in publications including The Sunday Times, National Geographic, and Der Spiegel. His book Street Art NYC is held in the permanent collection of the New York Public Library.

He is also the founder and curator of the Museum of Urban Art (2012–2024).
